For some of you that don't know what a slew-foot is, it's when a player in any sport comes up behind and trips both of the other player's legs. In this case it was into the backboards, when Jared Spurgeon got fouled by L'Heureux with a slew-foot. It was a three game suspension. Jared Spurgeon severely injured his right knee.
Now we have an interview from Nick Seme. What do you think of Jared Spurgeon? “I think he's a good captain and does some really good stuff for the community off of the ice, and overall he is a pretty good playmaker.” Is the Wild your favorite team and why? “Yes, I started out as a North Stars fan, but then when they left, I was so sad and mad, then the Wild came along and I became a really, really big Wild fan.” Have you gone to a Wild game? “Yes, many, but none this year.” What do you rate the Wild 0/5? “4.0, because they have yet to bring home a Stanley Cup to Minnesota.” What do you think of the slew-foot on Jared Spurgeon by L'Heureux? “It was horrible, it should've been longer than a three game suspension. It was a pretty dirty play!” Anything else to add? “Yes, I hope they will sign KK 97, Kirill the Thrill / Kirill Kaprizov, to a big contract extension and get a few other players to improve their chances of hoisting the Lord Stanley Cup!”
Leaderboards: 1. Winnipeg Jets. 2. Dallas Stars. 3. Minnesota Wild. The MN Wild are in 3rd place.
